About the event
Rystad Energy will present their latest views on the US Lower 48 upstream and oilfield services space. The talk will discuss how operators might tweak their corporate strategies (buybacks, dividends, debt management etc.) given lower commodity prices. Rystad Energy will also focus on the macro fundamentals as it relates to oil and natural gas markets with respect to supply, demand, storage levels etc. and how that will influence decision making for US independents with respect to their drilling and completions programs. Service price deflation and improving efficiencies are two levers that have allowed operators to protect margins but have led to balance sheets for oilfield service companies to come under immense pressure. There will be winners and losers in the space, and the talk will address topics as it relates to the future for the drilling, pressure pumping and other oilfield service markets.
